Constructed over 12 years in the 13th century, the fortress spans approximately 8 kilometers, boasting a remarkable 160 towers. The iconic Red Tower, named after its distinctive red bricks, was established during the reign of Seljuk Sultan Ala ad-Din Kayqubad in 1226. For ages, this tower safeguarded both the city's port and its residents from maritime threats, making it an enduring symbol of Alanya. 🏝️
